These tarot cards were created as a homage to Edgar Allan Poe, who is said to have written the world's first mystery novel.
Portions of his Gothic horror and mystery stories are reflected on each card, perfectly matching the mysterious and eerie illustrations.
The cards are based on the Rider-Waite version, but contain the author's own interpretations.
The set consists of 78 cards in total, 22 of which are called the Major Arcana and 56 of which are called the Minor Arcana.
The back of the card is a type that makes it impossible to distinguish between upright and reversed positions.
The case has a magnetic closure for safe storage.
