The Rider version, which is loved all over the world and can be considered the standard for tarot cards, was released in 1909.
It was created by Arthur Edward Waite, a member of the Golden Dawn, a magical society founded in England in the 19th century, and commissioned by artist Pamela Colman Smith.
In Japan, it is popularly known as the Rider-Waite version, Rider Tarot, Rider-Waite-Smith version, etc.
