"Yokai Tarot" is a unique tarot card set with a "yokai" theme based on Japanese folklore.
Yokai are said to be spiritual beings that share the Earth with humans, and they can be found lurking in places close to us, such as the shadows of the forest, the bottom of the ocean, and the corners of our homes.
Each Rider-Waite symbol is assigned a unique Japanese monster.
Yokai come in the form of humans, beasts, and even tools. They are depicted as peaceful and protective creatures, though sometimes mischievous.
Its multifaceted nature adds depth and uniqueness to a tarot reading.
The set consists of 78 cards, 22 of which are called the Major Arcana and 56 of which are called the Minor Arcana.
The back of the cards indicate whether they are upright or reversed. The case comes in a hard cover box.
