These are Lenormand cards, a traditional French card reading method.
The iconic image of Madame Lenormand evokes the everyday and the magical world that surrounds it.
This traditional Lenormand deck of 36 cards features 19th century pastel art on each card.
Each card has a number at the top and a symbol of the corresponding playing card in the center (no card name is printed).
It symbolizes the rise of cartomancy in France in the 19th century.

There are 36 cards, one for gentlemen and one for ladies. The case is a caramel box type.
