The Oswald Wirth Tarot is a historic tarot deck based on original designs by Swiss Kabbalist and occultist Oswald Wirth.
In addition to the serial number and the card name in French, the cards also feature Hebrew letters, following the theory of French occultist Eliphas Levi, who claimed that "the 22 Major Arcana cards of the Tarot correspond to Hebrew letters, and contain the keys to the mysteries and secrets of the world."

The cards are printed in vibrant colors with a gold background.

The set consists of 78 cards, 22 called the Major Arcana and 56 called the Minor Arcana. The base is the Marseille version of the numbers 8 = Justice and 11 = Power.
The back of the card is indistinguishable between upright and reversed positions. The case is a caramel box type.
