The set consists of 78 cards, 22 of which are called the Major Arcana and 56 of which are called the Minor Arcana.
The Major Arcana cards have a serial number, the name of the card in English, and the name of the character.
Each piece depicts a beautiful couple, such as Tamino and Pamina from the opera "The Magic Flute" in No. 0 ("INNOCENCE"), the peerless beauty Cleopatra and the Roman Emperor Caesar in No. 3 ("FERTILITY"), and Romeo and Juliet, the epitome of tragic love, in No. 5 ("TRADITION").

The Minor Arcana are divided into four suits: Cups, Staves, Arrows, and Coins. Each suit features a beautiful illustration based on a story from Tristan and Isolde, The Ring of the Nibelung, or the Greek myths of Psyche and Cupid and Zeus and Danae.

The card backs are indistinguishable between upright and reversed. The case is a caramel box type.
