What are Rider Tarot Cards?
Tarot cards are known as the "Rider version," "Waite version," and "Waite-Smith version" and are widely loved all over the world.
The first edition was published in 1909. Arthur Edward Waite, a member of the Golden Dawn, a magical society founded in England in the 19th century, commissioned illustrations by Pamela Colman Smith.
By the way, the name comes from the last names of the two authors mentioned above.
This Rider-Waite version has a standard, symbolic design and is recommended for beginners, but although it appears simple, it is actually very deep.
